Little Willie Mehto at Manala

Little Willie Mehto, aka Ville Mehto, has performed at numerous blues events in Finland and Europe.
The latest star of the Finnish diamond-hard blues scene represented Finland this year at the European Blues Challenge. Touching deep blues roots, Little Willie Mehto takes the audience on a Delta Blues journey spiced with harmonica and cigar box guitar.

Alongside his own songs, Little Willie Mehto performs country and delta blues classics in the spirit of Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee and others. Little Willie’s prowess on slide guitar and drums is reminiscent of such great masters as Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, R.L. Burnside and Bukka White.
