About Rogier
Rogier Bak is a comedian from Amsterdam. He is Dutch, but has worked incredibly hard to make sure you could never tell. Having spent his formative years in the US, he feels like a foreigner in his home country. He’s the first Dutch comedian to exploit cultural identity crisis for personal gain, and there’s a very realistic chance that he’s, like, literally, the only Dutch person in the world who wishes he were American.
About the Tour
Embarking on his debut solo tour, Rogier is conquering Europe, something no man has ever dreamed of doing before. The tour will kick off in Rotterdam, and from there Rogier will be crossing Europe in an erratic, zig-zag pattern, bringing laughter, civilization, and second hand American culture to the masses. Bravely, he will venture outside the safe confines of the EU to the UK (Bristol and London, mate) mostly to remind the Brits that, like the Dutch, they lost their American colonies forever. Thinking of stopping him? Too late, hombre – he has already manifested his destiny (and booked the venues, so it’s literally too late to cancel).
