Who is Julian Burdock:
Julian is among the most incredible gems of the London blues-soul guitar scene. He is a natural-born entertainer with 30+ years of experience in the game.
He has won the prestigious British Blues Awards once and has been nominated in different categories nine more times.
He performs worldwide, and in Scandinavia and the Baltics, he tours with Kari Paavola as a duo or a trio with a local bass player. On this tour of Scandinavia and The Nordics, Iiro Kautto will play with them in Tallinn and Surjo Benigh in Stockholm. The other three shows are Duos with Kari Paavola, a Finnish drummer based in London,
Julian is a guitar player immersed in blues and grooves. The show is based on his impeccable playing and singing—more Blues than Funk but full of Groove.
Julian has worked with the following superstars and has played under his name in most European countries and beyond, including Canada, Japan, Russia, China, and Kazakstan – Seal, Dave Stewart, Pee Wee Ellis, Beverly Knight, Vanessa Haynes, Bonnie Tyler, Jocelyn Brown etc.
Julian’s gigs are a mixture of his original material, classics, and some superb renditions of modern pop tunes, even Britney Spears Bluesyfied!!
